At Long Last: A Ben & Jerry’s Limited Edition Pumpkin Cheesecake Review
It has been an arduous hunt — much like looking for that last annoying treasure chest in the dungeon of a Final Fantasy game. All the calories I burned off desperately navigating my way through countless disorganized Walmart frozen food aisles has finally paid off. I now hold in my hands the prized bounty: Ben & Jerry’s Limited Edition Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream.
Did it fulfill my heart’s every desire?
The short answer is hell yes!
I agree wholeheartedly with Rodzilla: the pumpkin cheesecake base is perhaps the most well-crafted creation to ever come out of Ben & Jerry’s Lab of Gluttony. It is rich, creamy, and infused with a delicate balance of pumpkin spice and cheesecake passion.
Unlike in the abysmal DQ Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, the graham cracker swirl mix-in is integrated perfectly within the ice cream. Soft and just a tad crunchy at the same time — it isn’t a forced addition — each bite will effortlessly give your taste buds a hint of pumpkin pie crust love.
After a rather disappointing encounter with Schweddy Balls, I am so glad that I got the chance to try this limited edition batch. Ben & Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake is definitely up there with my beloved Cinnamon Buns as one of my favorite flavors ever.
Score: 5/5
